In New Kent, quality groundwork sets the stage for worthy investments, and our recent project is a testament to this philosophy. We tackled an ambitious job within an idyllic wooded site, fully preparing a piece of land for a future 30'x50' garage.

Grading is a pivotal aspect of building groundwork which can make or break a project. It's not just about moving dirt—it's about setting a solid foundation. Every inch of the terrain was leveled with precision, carefully balancing elevation and drainage considerations. Topsoil stripped from the site and stockpiled with a surround of silt fencing to ensure no run-off or movement of the topsoil until its reuse with temporary seed and straw applied to the stockpile per Virginia DEQ standards.

With our trusted heavy machinery, we ensured efficient material movement with importing 300 tons of CBR-15 structural fill material and building the pad with 10' wider offsets to ensure adequate room for the builder to dig their footings. This allows the future development to kick off without a hitch, saving our clients valuable time and resources.
