A new commercial GC reached out to us after landing a contract - they needed erosion and sediment controls in place fast so the next phase could move forward. That's exactly the kind of call we're set up to handle. We mobilized quickly and got to work.
Here's what we knocked out: 2,000 linear feet of silt fencing, a construction entrance, rock filter outlets, and multiple inlet protections. All of it installed and compliant. The site is right in Hopewell, VA - an active industrial corridor where keeping sediment off adjacent pavement and out of stormwater systems isn't optional, it's required.
The thing about erosion and sediment controls is that they're not glamorous, but they're critical. Skip them or do them wrong and you're looking at stop-work orders, fines, and a GC who's not calling you back. Do them right and the whole project moves forward on schedule - or ahead of it, like this one.
We finished ahead of our original timeline, which meant our GC client could push their next scope phase up early. That's the kind of win that matters on a commercial job. Less waiting, less coordination headache, and a subcontractor they can count on to just get it done.
If you're a GC working in the region and need ESC work handled by a crew that shows up, works fast, and gets it right - this is what we do.
